We are worried about having to pose for pictures?

Please take a look at the images on my photography page and wedding blog and you will see couples who expressed similar concerns, looking relaxed and enjoying a fun shoot on their wedding day. I consider myself first and foremost a documentary wedding photographer, focused on capturing natural moments and telling the story of your wedding day. That said, I think that it's important to create beautiful portraits of the two of you and to make the most of your chosen venue, we can do this in a short amount of time so as not to take you away from your family and friends and I will ensure that you enjoy the experience as part of your wedding day.Â
Will the family formals and group shot take a long time to complete?

A very common concern. First of all, I will create a plan of family formal photos with you before your wedding day, I often recommend around 6/8 line-ups plus a group shot works well, I also ask for first names for family members, this tends to speed things up on the day. And here's a trick! I recommend 'informal-formal' photographs in other words if you have special interest groups such as University friends or sports club members, we organise these photographs in an informal manner either after the group shot or even later in the day.
Do you have insurance and back-up equipment?

Yes, I'm covered by public liability and professional indemnity insurance and I typically arrive at every wedding with at least three DSLR Cameras and a range of lenses and flashguns. For extra peace of mind, my cameras record and save your images onto two separate memory cards, simultaneously thus ensuring that your images are safe should a memory card corrupt on the day.
We want to go ahead and book our date, what do we do next?

Should you want to meet before you book your date then please let me know, I'm always happy to arrange a chat over coffee and to discuss your plans for your wedding day. However, if you are ready to book then in the first instance please contact me directly or via my contact form to check my availability for your wedding date. I will then email across a booking form and wedding photography contract for you to complete and return. Please note that a booking fee will be required to secure your date with the balance of payment due one month prior to your wedding day. For more information please contact Paul on 07969 045778 or email: info@paulkyte.co.uk
Think of your wedding photography as an investment, memories that will be captured forever, moments that cannot be repeated. For me being a wedding photographer is so much more than simply taking wedding photographs, it's about your experience on the day, as much as it is about the results. An experienced, professional wedding photographer will seek to make your day run smoothly, will help you to organise your timeline and will take away the stress of having your photographs taken.
In fact an experienced, professional photographer like me will make any photo-session fun, enjoyable and a highlight of your wedding day. You might remember this testimonial from the front page of my web site, I think it perfectly sums up my approach to wedding photography and what I can add to your wedding day.
'.. Paul was a fantastic photographer at our wedding, he was friendly and full of great ideas. He really made us feel at ease and we laughed loads!..'

When you consider your choice of wedding photographer, look at their full portfolios not just their ' best of, ' you will notice that you can view plenty of blog posts and slide shows with full wedding shoots on my web site. Read the testimonials, I am proud of the fact that many of my couples not only comment on how pleased they are with their photographs but also how ' .. you made us feel so comfortable and so at ease ..' this is important to me and something that I work hard to achieve.
When you choose Paul Kyte Photography, you are investing in a creative, approachable wedding photographer with over 35 years of professional photography experience. Still not sure? Then please feel free to contact me (without obligation) as I am always happy to arrange a chat and to discuss your wedding plans, it's important that you find the right wedding photographer for your special day, so lets talk ...
