If ever one image can sum up a wedding day then it has to be the cover image for this blog post, I'm not sure what Jackie the bride said to the Priest? But the obvious love and laughter is the perfect reflection on a wonderful day.
The wedding took place at St.Thomas of Canterbury Church in Waterloo, Liverpool and although I've passed the church on several occasions it was the first time that I had been inside and what a pleasant surprise, the inside of the church is just stunning, bathed in beautiful light and from a photography point of view provided many options for different vantage points.
Jackie and Terry are a wonderful couple to photograph, lots of laughs throughout the day mixed with lovely moments with family and friends which I captured during the service and while attending an informal reception at The Park Hotel in Netherton. Their daughter Lucy was one of the bridesmaids and she confidently delivered one of the readings during the service. Confetti and hugs, bride and groom gnomes and an appearance from Liverpool football legend Jamie Carragher! Certainly a fun wedding to remember.
