If you love a festival style wedding set at a truly picturesque and historic location then this is the wedding for you. Heidi and Thomas chose St.Mary's Church near Welshpool as their wedding venue, complete with a beautiful backdrop and a colourful, festival vibe this was my type of wedding and I really enjoyed my day capturing moments for this very special couple.
Greeted with a hand crafted welcome sign upon arrival, the setting was truly breathtaking as I parked up ready to start my day. The weather forecast hadn't been promising however after a cloudy start the predicted rain passed us by thankfully and instead we were bathed in sunlight for much of the day. I'm so pleased that Heidi and Thomas were able to make the most of the stunning setting and that there family and friends could enjoy the outdoor festival fun.
St.Mary's Church is believed to date back to either the 15th or 16th Century having been restored in more recent times. It creates a unique setting for the wedding ceremony and you can just feel that sense of history. After a heartwarming ceremony we ventured outside for the group shots and formal line ups before spending time with the happy couple making the most of the scenery to capture beautiful images. To finish the shoot Heidi insisted that we capture some action shots on the bouncy castle! These are some of my favourite images that really encapsulate this lovely couple and their wonderful wedding day.
