I've said it before but one of the most interesting aspects of wedding photography for me is the sheer variety of venues and locations that I visit offering such a broad range of photographic opportunities and differing back drops. So I was delighted when the second of my couples to marry in Australia decided to enjoy their blessing at the Brickhouse Social in Manchester.
We just wanted to email and say thank you for our wedding photos, we love them. The colours are so beautiful and your creative shots are really cool, we're over the moon
A fantastic venue, tucked away on New Wakefield Street just off Oxford Rd, the rooftop bar played host to a wonderful party for Felicity and Brett and for their family and friends some of whom had also made the long trip from Australia. As part of their day I had arranged to take the happy couple across town to the Castlefields area one of my favourite locations in Manchester for photography. Unfortunately I was unaware that a music event was taking place on the same day and we arrived to find many of the locations closed for access. Fortunately Felicity and Brett took it all in their stride and allowed me to improvise a little using the bridges along the Castlefields basin and some of the nearby backstreets as my backdrops for their photographs.
I love shooting weddings in Manchester and Liverpool, something about that city centre vibe. To view more examples of my work please visit www.paulkytephotography.com or to get in touch contact Paul on 07969 054778 or email: info@paulkyte.co.uk
